We don't always see eye to eye, but still you accept me as one of y'all, and it's appreciated, having a community that I can feel comfortable in.

Warning: also a little TMI, so may be a bit squickish. Talking about serious IRL stuff, though, so continue reading at your own discretion.

The reason for this post is that I just finished (as in, the surgery began at 7 AM CST, and I literally just got back from the hospital) getting a urethrostomy and dilation combo surgery. When your bits get carved up internally, it sorta makes you think about a lot of things, and the fact that there's a community here that I fit into makes me feel very lucky indeed.

So, i'm rambling (the painkillers they give ya make ya a lil loopy) so I'll just end this post here.

Good to hear that your surgery went well 123easy.

The administration here certainly doesn't mind people disagreeing with us; not only because that's just simply part of the job, but we also would be the first to tell you that we don't always get it right. All we ask and hope for is that users try to remain respectful and level-headed when disagreeing with us or each other. Obviously, that's kind of a tall order. :P But we all care and we all want the site to be the best it can be. Fighting each other over that tends to result in people eventually just leaving, or not participating nearly as much anymore. It's good to have people around willing to speak out when they think we're screwing up.

I haven't had any major surgery (just some stitches on the left side - your right - of my upper lip) so I can't understand very much what you're going through right now (all the pain and drowzyness of the painkillers) but if you ever need to chat, you know where to find me :)

Yeah, the worst part is the foley that they have in has some extra tubing attached rather than the normal length for a thigh attachment, so it easily tugs when moving around. Even worse is if I get an accidental boner (and trust me, with them having done what they did, I am trying to avoid them at all costs) then it ends up going up the exposed section of the foley before the hose connector, and that just causes more trauma and bleeding. x_x
