I will try my best not to evangelize like so many other supporters have been doing, but...
Why aren't artists/commissioners taking advantage of the Bitcoin technology?
I feel this would be a great tool for faster, more convenient and anonymous transactions. Not to mention it would be easy to implement.
Plus, many have noted donations and other microtransactions to be Bitcoin's "killer app". It would certainly encourage smaller transactions within the community, and give rise to a more casual, freeform kind of trading.
Cryptocurrencies could create a sort of microeconomy between community members, unaffected by outside influences. And it would give a big boost to the cryptocurrency economy as a whole. I'm sure you all would have a BIG effect.
Hey, now that I think about it, maybe even an altcoin!? I'm sure furries would jump on it in no time if it was given proper branding. Dogecoin is successful mostly due to good branding.
PayPal has a lot of shortcomings cryptocurrencies could easily fix. Just thinking about it.
