I am not a 100% sure this is the right place to put this but here it goes.

As most of you know, there has been a ton of art from eroborus being posted, and I noticed there where quite a few duplicates while attempting to tag them.
So I downloaded all the pictures from this site by him, and scanned them through Visipics and got some 30+ duplicates and they range all from reposts, to smaller sizes, etc, and i'm sure they will continue to go up as the next round of uploads starts.

Since I can flag so many in a day, I decided to post the links to them here in order to get some help in flagging them all.

Also the links are not in any particular order in term of which needs to be deleted and if one is a better verison. So if you find a repost that's superior to an orignal, do what ippiki_ookami said and

You are very committed! I started tagging some of the ones at the bottom but I can only flag two posts a day so I'm not much help, sorry. Also, how do you set something as a parent post?

Many if not most of those reposts are superior to the originals. Also flagging them is unnecessary, just parent the superior versions and we'll go in and delete the inferior versions.

I did notice that, unfortunately the links aren't in any order, The program just spits out all similar pictures. I have to manually look through them all and search the duplicates here based on md5 hash of each picture and it duplicate, and then posting the links, all of which took about an hour. It would have taking too long if I tried to keep all the ones that needed to be deleted on one side vs the other.

I've already done a bit of flagging to his uploads (and old versions) over the last days, but great job finding them all! Will help out if it's still necessary.
Also, I didn't know that piece of software but it sounds useful.

Eh, fair enough, please cancel my user report than, if you don't mind.

If it's better versions then he's not really doing anything wrong.
Wish he'd do more to point out that it's a higher quality replacement, but that's not really something that's required, so no big deal.

I guess I should've checked back here more often because I've just flagged a couple.

The last one from the edit seems straightforward enough. There's definitely something fucky going on with one of either's aspect ratio and it's hard to tell which one, but one of them is a .PNG and the other's a slightly blurred .JPG, so...

Oh, and the PNG seems to be slightly updated with a blush added and a more elaborate glow effect on the cheek pouches.

Concerning the top two the one on the left looks like a more updated version, the one on the right, there isn't as much detail in the areas that differ

Concerning the bottom two the one on the left looks like something got screwy with the aspect ratio and was cropped a little bit.

Just my opinion but I'd get rid of the top right one and the bottom left one

I won't say more cum, the other one is just outlines of it, and the other has it filled in with white color

Just a heads up: which of the two should I flag when a newer version was uploaded that's in a superior format (say PNG instead of JPG) but otherwise looks entirely identical to the older post?

Well one reason why is because you linked the same post twice.

But compared to post #53772, I'm guessing that all someone did was convert the JPG to a PNG at some point, meaning you now have a lossless version... of a JPG original... so it's visually identical to the JPG, while taking up more space.

I think ideally we'd delete the duplicate in favor of the original JPG, but I can't say how reliable we'd be at this. I think quick decisions are made a lot of times based solely off of file format and size rather than visually comparing both posts close enough to see if there's any actual difference.

That's probably true, but I for one do tend to run an extra, visual check when I'm not immediately sure. So in other words, we'll keep the JPG?
I would flag that post myself, but as mentioned, I can't at the moment. ;P
