Well, not for reals.

FP:FS is a Digipen Student-made game I found recently, where you literally go through your computer's folders and kill viruses. It's a First-person shooter.

The cool thing about it is that folders are rooms and files sit inside the room. If you have a folder with some 'images' in it, they show up ingame. You also have in your inventory a 'pIpod', and you can capture images and music files you come across to look at and listen to later.

Running through your porn folder killing viruses is quite fun, actually.

it wont download, it keeps saying i'm missing a file.

ffffff it wont finish loading for me, takes forever. it also wont go to my D:\ directory, says i beat the game

Are the enemies supposed to be invincible?

It only does 3 folders for me, I don't know how it comes up with which are infected or not. You can still run through the folders even if it says you beat it.

No, but if it takes forever to kill them make sure you have ammo.

finally got it working, just was typing out the directories wrong. i actually discovered some pictures i had saved long ago, nice program

that didn't help at all

edit: ok, i found and put the appropriate file, but now it says

"Could not load configuration file"

Open the folder where the game is installed and run it there.
That same error hit me when I used the shortcut, but running it from the folder worked.
Probably something like C:\Program Files\FPFS\

it says you win but you can still go through folders? i only got that error because i was typing my directories wrong

yep i typed the directories right. my laptop isn't the best, so when i just type in "C:\" it freezes =/
probably because of all the crap i downloaded....

it says the file is corrupt and won't open for me. :/

yea, mine froze when i did that, try something like C:\users\yourusernamehere\pictures

EDIT: I am getting an "Error Creating The Device" error. I have already installed that "dx39-whatever" thing.

EDIT:EDIT: I am running Win7 Ultimate. I have the program set to run as an administrator in Compatibility Mode for Win XP SP3. Still not working.

It worked absolutely fine for me, Windows 7 Home Premium. If you're really desperate, you could run it in a virtual machine or something..

Sorry, I don't know, I'm using Win7 and it works fine.
Make sure you run it from the folder and not use a shortcut, see if that helps.
