Because the user uploaded many images from an artist who later requested removal of their work from e621, the user's upload limit is in the negatives (meaning, I suppose, that they can't 'redeem' themselves now). Is this a bug? Shouldn't the upload equation have an expression in place to prevent negatives from happening?

Yeah, definately a bug... a lot of karabiners work was asked to be removed at once.. and this user uploaded a lot of it... Report it in Dave Murphy's bug thread.

instead of making a new thread about deleted images... is there any plan on letting users know what their deleted images were?

I know if you upload an image that was deleted you'll be taken to the original page with the deletion notice. But recently, I up'd some images that were requested to be taken down by the artist, then nearly uploaded more before asking a mod about my deletions.

obviously showing the deleted image wouldn't make much sense. maybe being able to 'browse' your deleted images so you can see the tags would help?

That's how it used to work -- deleted posts could be browsed (showing tags / attributes only) but not actually viewed. There was an... Oversight in some of the code patched over from Danbooru when v2.2 was made, and people browsing deleted posts had to be wholesale removed as a precaution against Bernal problems.

I'm under the impression they intend to fix things back to how they were before, but it's not currently highest priority in the list of things to fix.
