Warnings. I'm trying to be nice when I give them, if I tell you that your gonna get demerits or banned for continuing a certain behavior, it really does mean stop the behavior.

Meaning, if you get a nice little note from me that states, "Don't do that." Or "Blacklist this" it means I WANT to give you a demerit already, but I'm being all "Good moderator" and warning you first. Otherwords. DON'T ARGUE ABOUT IT. It helps your case absolutely none.

As a couple users found out just now. Telling me to "Shut up and fap" or "Get a life," or even better, "Oh wow, did you have to think REAL hard about that one? Got them a bit more than they were looking for. So yes. I'm being nice when I'm noting you to stop. So be nice back and don't be an asshole about it.

I can't imagine what anyone can hope to gain by telling a mod to go piss off. The only excuse I can come up with is that they're so disconnected from the inner workings of the site (or perhaps so distracted by the pronz) that they have no idea that we have a moderation team, and that Aurali is on it.

It's not like we have badges that conspicuously label us; some people don't think to check our user pages before popping off. :-)
