Easter is coming up, so I wanted to ask:
Does anybody else besides me absolutely hate holiday-themed porn?

I hate it because
- it always comes up, every year
- it's always the same cliched ideas, the same overused puns

It annoys me when people bitch when holiday-themed images aren't posted around the time that they were meant for. Like, for example, xmas-themed post in July, "why was this posted? it's not Christmas, lololol."

Yeah, I don't get that. I smiled the other day when I saw some christmas porn. It was a nice reminder of the 'feel' of christmas and made me happy, especially as I thought of how cool the weather is, that time of year.

So what if it's all cliche and puns? 95% of porn is full of cliche anyway.

how is a a female rabbit oviposition piece any more or less cliche then, say, a fox with a tentacle monster ovipositioning?

How's a mouse with a multiple-insertion candycanes any more cliche from a (other species) with 30 dildos stuffed into them?

How's a 'being naughty fucking santa' any more cliche than any number of random porn images except in that it has a little more story then most of them?

Look at it this way: a holiday themed picture is an artist's way of saying "hi people who like my art. I know you're there! Have a relevant thematic image of sexiness! May your days be happy! or.. . well, if you hate holiday art, enjoy the sexiness, at least."
