It truly is impossible to overstate my anticipation.

Better than nezumi stuff we had last time Upload broke.
xD

Wait. So uploading just... broke?

What caused it? Was Aurali tinkering around with code?

Updated by anonymous

Ahh crap. *Waits for impending flood*

Updated by anonymous

Crap. I was hoping to log in today and not have to see that stupid wolfs rain comic on the front page.

Honestly, would it really be that much to ask of people to be nice towards one another, and not backbite? I don't really care for Wolf's Rain myself, but obviously the person who posted it liked it. It's not his fault that's the last thing that went on before the uploader broke.

Think of it as teaching that all-important lesson.

Fixed.

The image storage server's disk was 100% full, resulting in new uploads failing as it couldn't upload the images.

I have no idea why e621/danbooru *requires* that a remote server (that's not the main e621 server) needs to recieve images - but it does, hence the reason it fell over and crapped all over itself like a babyfur.

Sorry guys... especially for that babyfur mental image.

Thank you for fixing it, Varka! But why do we have two methods of downloading an image from a page now?

Actually nevermind; I'm still trying to fix it.

Fucking Ruby on Rails.

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that this was an opinion-free zone. I'll try to remember that next time before I trample on little Timmy's fragile psyche.

Boo hoo. :<

Now how about letting us search for deleted posts again ?
The only reason it was disable was to prevent people to access pics through links.

I want to be able to check back sources.
I want to be able to see if a picture has already been posted and deleted through MD5 searches.
I want to be able to check which posts of mine have been deleted and the reason for it.

The code won't let you resubmit an MD5 that's in the system, even if it is deleted.

That is not the matter at hand.

Most pictures I post come from browsing boards, on which they don't necesarily show the source, nor specify the artists, but on which you often find "batches" of pictures of the same (unidentified) artists.
Same goes when i sort entire archives that people sometimes share ; i often recognize similar style and/or signatures, but can't always figure whose it is.

Since i don't want to post stuff that is likely to get removed, I want to check if a picture is or was already here, without having to post them.

The MD5 is a mere example of searching ; when i search by width/height, i sometime find artists who use always the same resolution, which again makes me refrain from posting, if all of their pics have already been deleted.

Not all of us are just copy pasting pics from FA, already knowing where they come from ; when you sort pictures coming from the depth of the internet, additional searching is required, and that's part of the fun.

Actually, the settings can be changed to allow it to be a local store.

I wonder if Kald's problem could be resolved by letting the uploader of a deleted image be the only one to view the images that was deleted? or perhaps, see the thumbnails of his deleted images?

on the other hand, that sounds complicated.
