Topic: A "hide image" feature.

Posted under General

Just putting it out there but would it at a feasible idea to put a "hide image" button on pictures so if there was a picture we never wanted to come up in search again we could tag it as such.
That would eliminate having to blacklist a whole genre of things when you just really abhor a certain image that pops up with your favorite fetishes/characters/series/etc. (or a lot of them).
I don't know what your tech situation is but it just sounded like a good idea for the future or whatever :p

I image it's like a song that gets stuck in your head. For several years I could not hear the words "banana phone" without hearing the song repeat... over and over and over and over in my head for hours. maybe he has issues, visually with the same aspect? :p

or maybe not.

I think the best bit would be to try and isolate the tags out on that image as precisely as possible... remember if you put multiple tags on one lone, it will blacklist any images that have ALL of the tags on that line in it.

So "pokemon pikachu flower bambi deer hooves bulbasaur anal shopping_mall rape" will successfully blacklist that picture of pikachu and bulbasaur anally violating Bambi in the middle of a shopping center that you hate so much.

if there are no 'really unique' tag combs.. well.. suck it up for a few minutes and add some more tags to the image. If you add something rarely used, but accurate (like shopping_mall, or sneakers, or...) then you can use it to help isolate out that ONE godforsaken picture.

(if you really can't do it, PM me and I'll see if I can cram some more tags on the thing for you.)

Alternatively, it may be useful to just allow us to include image numbers into the blacklist, though I admit I wouldn't know how implementable that is.

this.. might be feasible. I'll make a note to try to implement that in 3.0. The original idea would eat the database though.
