The fucking wikipedia Heavy_metal_subgenres page has 33 different entries (goddamn, Southern fucking metal? Where you mix metal and blues? What. tha. fuck.) and I know that there are ones not even on the list. (jesus, rap metal? really? REALLY?)

how about words that we use likes tags? Fast. Slow. Loud. Melodic. laid back. intense. Orchestral. Melodic. Dark. very dark. Sweeping guitars. Powerful drums. Makes a lot more sense then post-nu-power-industrial grindcore.

I was watching a Megadeth song music video and a Justin Bieber ad came up.

Also people that turn guitar into a competition. "How fast can you sweep!? I can do 6 strings at 400 bpm!" Music is not about how fast you can play, even in metal you don't have to shred to make a good solo.

I like a lot of genres so they both help me find music I enjoy.

i usually stick to metal but stumbles helps find new bands, that and friends and zune dj

My Fender Starcaster that keeps going out.

When you're 3 minutes into a song and one of your cables go snap sizzle pop and the sound cuts out.

I hate the douchebags that learn only solos or cool sounding parts to songs and then play them over and over in front of their friends and people who act like their better than every other guitarist because they know a few fancy songs, which took them weeks to learn.

"That song sucks, play something cool." --- How about I play my guitar against your head?

"Are you trying to pick up girls with that?" --- No, I'm trying to play a fuckin' guitar.

"How about I name a song and you play it for me?" --- How about, go fuck yourself?

"Can I play it?" --- Only if you have enough money to refund any expenses required to fix it, after you break it.

"How long does it take to practice before you're any good at it?" --- Depends on how many questions annoying people interrupt me with.

Just leave me alone before my amp gets shoved so far up your ass that you'll sing whenever I strum a chord. >.>
