I must admit the new layout is beautiful! It feels a lot more smoother and it's not over-complicated either. You guys have done a superb job on it. I can't wait till we get a good community up and running. I'll be doing my part.

Thanks! The amount of work we had to do for the upgrade to the new software was way less than we had expected.

Mellis and me worked all last night to get the layout perfected- if you find any serious problems, let us know! Suggestions are welcome, as well.

I'm not actually sure if it's considered an error, but when you revert a note it will create a new one rather than editing. (Not exactly considering that serious but still, its the only thing I can find, for now ;P )

And as for a suggestion, this one has been playing on my mind; post specific image blocking. So instead of blocking the tags you can block a certain image. There's been a few occasions on where I've searched a tag, discovered a really disgusting image I'd rather not see again and been unable to block that specific image.

And if you don't mind me asking, how long approximately did it take you guys to fully code the new layout? It seems such a huge improvement and it must of took some time.

I don't know about the note thing; it might be intended behavior, it might be a bug. We'll look at it, but it's a pretty insignificant problem (relatively) so I doubt it'll be something we focus our efforts on.

Post-blocking should be possible, but after some testing, I can't get it to work. We'll get back to you on this- there will be a forum post on development changes that we make going forward.

Lastly, the site is derived from the source code of danbooru. Danbooru is like e621, but for anime. We ported the latest version of danbooru to this site, which changed much of the underlying code and modified the layout some. We made the rest of the changes ourselves. The site's code has already seen some changes, minor bugfixes and the like.

Like I said, now that we're at this version, we're probably gonna take the idea of forking off to our own features more seriously, so there will be a log of what's changed added. Right now, though, barring massive bugs, we're probably too busy playing Fallout 3... >.>

Ah, that explains the 'Post anime only' thing on the terms of service... I think xD.

I've actually been wanting to play fallout 3 ._. Although it runs on the same engine as oblivion, and there were quite a few irritating bugs in that engine... But I still like the look of it.

Whatever minor bugs people are complaining about in FO3, they aren't enough to keep me playing the game.

Except the use of Radiant AI... but, I'm moving off-topic here.

I'm interested in FO3 since I quite enjoyed the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R and I also like Oblivion. So the idea of some hybrid (FO3) is quite interesting.

If I see any errors I'll just post them somewhere and let you deal with them in your own time.

And you're going off topic? Last time I checked this topic was about opinions on the new layout and we are talking about games xD

I just hope a strong community grows here.

I must say it's much better than the old one, not much changed in the way the site is layed out, but thats the great thing, still simple and damn hot! =D

I felt the old ones weren't really appropriate as they're of characters from a g-rated children's comic about special needs animals. It was just sort of a horrible fit for a site that has this much porn on it.

That said if enough people hate them I can do up something else, but they fit the site's look now.

I love S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I had actualy started a furry comic version about two stalkers in the zone. The first one I drew made me realize I suck at backgrounds... But im pretty good with the actual characters. Anyway if I get more of them made I'll put em up here.

Oh BTW the new layout is an EPIC WIN in my book, I just come here to... you know, and anyway the new layout is simply, the colours arent BURSTING out at you and they dont detract from the pictures, the load times are very small, and the shear volume of the porn on here is amazing! I'm very impressed and I will definetly be here for a loooong time.
