I haven't visited the site in a while, but I noticed that the Find Similar feature is gone from the upload screen. The Find Similar feature could let us see if an image was already uploaded to the site to avoid the upload of lots of duplicates. Why was it removed?

Far as I'm aware, if you try to upload a similar picture, it redirects you to the duplicate picture and gives you and erorr:post already exits.

If the picture has been altered in any way, it'll have a different MD5 hash, which makes it a different picture altogether. Look at a lot of Kitsu~'s uploads and you'll see what I mean.

From what I saw, it didn't actually work. In fact it linked you to danbooru instead of e621.

I remember that. I'm pretty sure I asked if someone was going to fix it a long time ago, and I think someone said that they were working on it or something. How come it couldn't have been changed to direct you to this site insted of Danbooru?
