Topic: Creepy dragon fanatic guy

I noticed this user here http://e621.net/user/show/23827 when they edited the tags on something I had uploaded.

I checked out their edit history and noticed it consists almost entirely of removing the "Dragon" tag from posts. Looking at their comment history, they seem to be of the opinion that dragons with out wings or hybrid dragons are not infact dragons and so they go around editing that tag off pictures. In a few cases they added the dragon tag to pictures with dragon-like wings that are not dragons.

I don't know if there's a better way to deal with someone like this so I figured I would post about it here.

I fixed a few of them, but I'm not sure whats up with the "Zeke" tag edits so if someone else does they should validate those.

If it's not obvious what animal the hybrid is made from, I can undertand removing the dragon tag though, or any other inaccurate tags. I doubt that's how this went.

best result that if its a dragon by the user, its a dragon. kick that guy on the head until he learns a lesson that dragons can live without wings too.

Tag what you see, not what you know is the baseline rule Darlthris. If it doesn't have scales, just a pair of ambiguous horns that could be antelope horns or something similar, and no draconian features besides the horns- Why would you tag it dragon?

i would tag anything that would BASE off a dragon. either from artist's view or without knowing the artist then our views. its really something that people criticize. look at the WoW's creatures called the dragonkin. they dont have wings. and they are listed as scaled dragons. note that there are other pictures of dragon hybrid wolves. it can be listed as a dragon or a wolf but for specifics can be listed also as a hybrid too.

A dragon wolf hybrid should be tagged with all three, provided you can see all three aspects clearly. if it just has horns and otherwise looks like a wolf, hybrid wolf unknown_species. Dragonkin are tagged dragon because that's what they are visually. they are dragon taurs. You couldn't mistake them as something else.
