Seventh post where I've had to retag because whomever posted the pic didn't bother to add a simple artist: prefix to the artist's name. ARGH.

Seventh post that was put up within the past three hours, all in a row. If it was a bunch of Pokemon art that was posted and wasn't tagged right, I'd rag on Pokemon posters. I don't mind having to retag stuff to consolidate tags or add stuff that someone else didn't think of tagging, but don't be fucking lazy when you're tagging; is that -really- too much to ask?

with ponies, and a fair amount of users, yes. this is the lament of the tagger.

No, it wasn't. Mistagging the artist is a problem not just for the re-taggers, but also for the artist. Tag. it. Right. Please. That goes for everyone, not just MLP.

Could you post a link to exactly which pictures were mis-tagged so we can see what you're ranting about?

Eh? First six artist tags under the tags tab, minus sweetiebelle, and then emerald_darkness. they tag the name sometimes but don't bother to tag it artist, just like some don't bother to tag characters- Or tag them separately.

I think one of those might have been me. You don't always need to use ARtist: or Character: it auto-works once you do it.
so artist:SweetieBell-FIM would make all pictures tagged sweetiebelle-Fim artist-tagged. but you probably already knew that.

Yeah, that's why I said minus sweetiebelle- you fixed that one before I got to it. The other ones I mentioned are the ones I fixed.
