I'm not anti-fur or anything. But but I think this is important. I am talking about the lack of furs wearing condoms. this may sound irrelevant. But it is important. obviously to stop pregnancies but also to stop the spread of HIV-Aids, herpes and other STDs. from my observations from e621 and my personal collection I have calculated that up to 85% of the furry population has STDs or had an unwanted pregnancy. I would like to know what you think so please comment.

Furs are magical beings that don't get STDs or STIs as they call them now, nor do they have unwanted pregnancies unless it's part of the fantasy of the character(s) involved.

Considering many furry couples (or more) are of different species, you should factor in that many diseases don't jump species barriers or that the gametes of one species are not necessarily interfertile with another's without outside intervention (modern medicine, genetic manipulation, magic, wishful thinking, etc.).

There are also ways to reduce fertility, including, but not limited to, applying prolonged heat or ultrasound to a male's gonads. Females can use the Billings method to reliably time ovulation.

Also, there are a number of medicines and remedies available that can treat or cure many diseases even without resorting to modern medicine.

There's also the point that sexually promiscuous people would conceivably learn to make an effort to keep STDs and unwanted pregnancies at a minimum if only so they can continue with their rampant stork summoning.

Finally and most importantly, don't you think all this is overthinking the whole matter? After all, it is just fantasy. ;p

In Furry Fantasy Land, only cool problems exist (e.g. homophobia).

Unless it happens to be a fetish. (and since everything can be a fetish...)

The hell? Dude, their magical talking anthromorphic animals. Pregnancy and std's only exist if the artist chooses to include it. {Locking this...topic...what the hell.
