Topic: Having a problem with the site..

Posted under General

For some reason, everything is vertically layed out and white. Pictures don't show up at all, either. It's not the standard site, for some reason and the problem is only on this computer. Can anyone help with the problem?

[EDIT #2]
I can't even add a damn respond to this thread. I upgraded to Firefox 5 and it's still like this. Here's the screenshot:

[EDIT 3]
I'm using Windows 7 Home Basic, I deleted IE because I hate it but can DL Chrome if necessary, I have an awesome connection, and what is CSS? Also, I tried changing the view settings like you showed Neitsuke, and it didn't work. Thanks, though.

can you upload a screenshot to tiny pic? what browser/OS are you using?

How long has this problem been happening and did you add or change anything around the time you noticed the change?

does IE work?

That's interesting, though

I know firefox has an option to.. hmm... it.. strips the formatting, I think, so that you can view a age in black and white... I forget what it's called... can anyone help me out here?

Mine does that when the connection is acting up. Do you have a shitty connection?

If it's always appearing like that, maybe your CSS is off.

I don't know what's the menu on English, but it should be Display - Page Style - Base Style Page (?)

Because I have no idea what are the menus, I took a screen to show what to select hoping it will help : http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/585/superscreenshot.jpg/

If it doesn't fix the problem, then try to remove all the cache, temporary files, etc. If it always doesn't fix the problem, I really don't know what to do >:

CSS is Cascade Style Sheet, some codes to personalize html files :v
The only things that come in my mind is maybe your firewall/antivirus that blocks e621 in some sort of ways because if other websites work fine, the problem must be something else than FireFox itself.

To empty your temporary files, it's CTRL + MAJ + DEL on FireFox. Select everything and all will be cleared. You also can try to download Ccleaner to remove all temporary files (And all the useless crap in the same time) and I guess it should work, if not, well my brain is really dry up for ideas.

CSS options in Firefox - View -> Page Style -> Basic page style
'Hard' refresh is Ctrl + F5

As ExplosiveBlaziken says, sometimes this is caused by a slow connection, so try pausing any downloads and retry.

Honestly, go download chrome. :) if nothing else, you can try a new webbrowser for a bit, and at least this way you can "converse" properly with us while we try to get this sorted :) and maybe you'll prefer it :)

Your computer didn't download the css file, this could be a number of reasons. but everyone else already got to it.

It's fixed, now! I turned on the AdBlock Plus plug-in I have for Firefox and Ctrl+F5 and it works just fine, now, for some reason. Thank you, everyone, for your technical support!
