I was thinking, what if there was some kind of "username changer", for those who dislike the username they chose, but they are only given like 2 or 3 changes, and once they used those 2 or 3 changes, they are stuck with that name permanetly

If you don't like your username, it's easy enough to make a new account.

it is a good idea... there aer jsut some logistics to consider... I remember this idea coming up in discussion at some point actually, but I don't know if it was for or against.

It's not an awful idea, but it's not like there are any serious things you lose if you make a new account. And if you make a new account, you can keep the old one in case it's privileged or something. It's not bad, it's just not really necessary.

You lose stats credibility. If you say a bunch of stuff about stuff and you have say, 10 tag edits on the new account- stupid people are likely to ignore or jeer you. Plus, it doesn't give the database even more new accounts on top of the ban evaders.
