Topic: Remove the no-bump limit on posts.

Posted under General

Posts that get enough comments will no longer be bumped on the comments list.

Just try and bump post #107165.

Can the admins please fix this?

Who said it wasn't intended?

I don't see any reason why it should be removed. It stops spam and posts that have gotten too much attention already from popping back up in the comments section.

But the posts with too much attention have that attention for good reason, because they were discussion provoking.

Then if they actually care about the discussion, they shouldn't have any trouble finding it.

In that case, the discussion should probably be moved to the forums where you can track the discussion easier. Plus it keeps drama off the posts.

Posts with too much attention might have attention for a good reason, but the image provided... it's just being spammed with either the 'srs' face, or various written interpretations of said face. That shouldn't be constantly bumpable to a spammable degree.

Yeah, I know it wasn't a good example, but the thing about posts with lots of comments, it's hard to find them.
