Topic: Lola Bunny - Love her, hate her, don't give a $h!t?

Posted under Off Topic

It occurs to me, thanks to a discussion on this image http://www.e621.net/post/show/153242/bent_over-cheerleader-lagomorph-lola_bunny-looking that it's often just assumed furries like Lola Bunny, and might be among the only people to do so.
In this discussion for example http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13013233860A96962500&page=1 the character has been dismissed as a representative of the "Smurfette Principle" and a lackluster fulfiller of the role of "The Chick" ( http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheSmurfettePrinciple?from=Main.SmurfettePrinciple http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheChick ) and described with things like "Furry fanservice. That is all." and "The only people who dont hate her are people into furries, uggh.". And that's just the first page!

So, what did YOU think of the character when she first appeared in Space Jam? What do you think of her now? If you've seen the new show, do you believe the changes are an improvement or a hindrance? Like her character model but not her character, or vice versa?
Do you think the fact that she's not a classic 'Tune but rather a 90s gurrl factors into your decision?

Her total absence from "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" proves that at least one high-up person in Warner Bros. didn't like her or didn't think many LTs fans liked her. And it would be interesting to see what furries opinions actually are, rather than seeing them ascribed by others.

Eh, I wasn't a fan of her.

I liked Lola's personality in Space Jam, but she's mentally challenged in the new Looney Tunes. She's so annoying now.

She's a total stalker now lol. Never really been much of a fan of her which is surprising since Lagomorph anthros are one of my favorite kinks.

I just thought of her as eyecandy for the male audience, and as a prop for some bad jokes. But people make it sound like this is the only movie guilty of this. Would any of the Transformers movies have had as big a box office success (read shitfest) if Shia LaButtfuck and Megan Fox wouldn't have been in it to drag their respective fanboys/girls into the movie? I think not. But i can already hear the responses: "You didn't like Megan because you're a furfag!". No, i didn't hate her because i am a furry. I hated her, because she is a dumb, shallow slut with boobs bigger than her brain. And how did you get past Shia's constant fucking whining?! I could name a bunch of movies that has the exact same pointless eyecandy characters, so i'm not just "trolling" those wretched Michael Bay films as fans would put it. Those movies are a disgrace.
Ehm, to come back to topic, i didn't like her. But i do feel better after letting off some steam Bennett.

Space Jam was a terriblely unfunny movie, and they didn't really give her any depth in it. Since that's the only thing I've seen her in, I more or less don't care about her. Slappy Squirrel could teach her a thing or two about leaving an impression on people.

I watched the second episode of the new series since making this topic. And I have to say she is 1000x funnier in the new show. Remember it's supposed to be Looney Tunes, not SERIOUS Tunes.

Don't give a shit, by the way, you can say "shit" here.

I must say I do like her new role. Great stuff! Not everyone is as stable as she is ;)

Lola bunny reminds me a lot of Minerva Mink...

that said, I kinda liked Lola when i was seeing the movie in theaters. Not so much because she was eye candy (I was a late bloomer, was 12, and to be honest, I don't think I ever DEFINED my sexuality in any kind of words until... much later in life. Anyway.)... but because she amused me. I dunno. I don't think I've seen space jam in well over 10 years. Who knows.
