You guys should add a way to submit stories. Just an idea.

I've suggested it before, and the response was a resounding 'no'.

It's a great idea but everybody hates it for some reason.

even as a writer I say no. this is an image board, and thus should only be used for images. if you want stories, there are plenty of sites out there for that. stories would probably disorganize the system. in my opinion it's bad enough that we have those story line flash RPGs.

If I did writing submissions, it would be completely seperate from the index, use a completely new system of commenting and viewing, and finally would require a whole new set of mods for just the stories.

I'm not saying no, it would be a fun project but would require a lot.

I'd say no not because I'm against stories or because it's a bad idea, but because there's such a thing as doing too much. A story section on e621 would be overwhelming for users and moderators alike and would also water down what the site is used for already. In any case, Cookiekangaroo is right. There are a number of story sites we can choose from, so e621 adding one wouldn't be contributing a whole lot.

sofurry has this bad habit of deleting stories or them simply "going missing". I say inkbunny's better than furaffinity or sofurry.

no, it allows anything furry. I think you're thinking of wildcritters maybe?

Don't forget FanFiction and AdultFanFiction. They're okay with Furry stories as long there's more relevance to the game/show/series/whatever than Furry stuff.
