So, does anyone else read the graphic novel, or watch the show? Did anyone see the season premiere? If so, what did you think of it. I loved it and I'm looking forward to next week's episode. Talk to me!

I saw a very short segment of an episode.

I wasn't terribly interested, but that wasn't giving it much of a chance.

I generally prefer zombie video games to zombie movies or shows.

Though I did like Zombieland...

You should watch more. It's one of the single best television series ever made. Best of all, it's written by the guy who created the comics. It also kind of feels like George A. Romero helped make it. Not to mention, a video game based on the comic and novel is scheduled for release. Watch it. You'll love it.

It's a book, too. A very good book.

Do you mean the hardcover copies, or do you mean the graphic novels? I love zombies, don't you? Freaking love The Walking Dead. When I found out that one of my favorite comics ever made was going to be a TV show, I almost passed out from the awesomeness. I love it so much.

Probably meant this one http://www.amazon.com/Walking-Dead-Compendium-One/dp/1607060760/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1318919043&sr=1-1

Met Robert Kirkman a few years ago before the Walking Dead got really big. I'd missed a speaking engagement of his (I was asking for tips on how to verify some comic art I have is authentic) and he was about to leave so didn't have much time to talk, but seemed like a very nice guy.

Lucky! I would love to meet him. His comics are awesome.

at the college I'm going to, walking dead is a required text book series...no joke, it's for world mythology class. so I read it, it was alright though I've read a large number of zombie books that were a lot better.

Nice! Yeah, The Walking Dead isn't the BEST zombie series out there, but it's my favorite.
