I recently thought I'd play around with the "random" link, and immediately got two posts with tags that are on my blacklist. Needless to say, I won't be using the "random" link again anytime soon.
I propose one of two changes be made:
-The best, but most complicated/difficult one would be to find a way to make the "random" link avoid showing a user posts with tags matching tags on their blacklist. A simply automatic refresh would do, or if we have some coding wizards working for the site a "while" loop that uses a user's blacklist as its condition.
-As a simpler alternative, put the "blacklist" thumbnail over the image on blacklisted posts you load until a button has been clicked to confirm that you do, in fact, want to view the image. This would allow people to simply click "random" again themselves in lieu of an automated function to avoid blacklisted posts altogether, and would also mean they would be warned beforehand if another user links them to a post with material they have blacklisted.
