Now I don't want to point fingers or anything... but there does seem like there's some vote cheating going on. I posted a pic (http://e621.net/post/show/186014) up last night and I noticed it was going well on votes and had quite a few faves on it. But then some other pic (http://e621.net/post/show/186019/) came up out of no where in less than 4 or 5 minutes with 16 votes and hardly any faves on it and that the pic I posted went from about 12 votes to only 4. You might want to think about changing the way the popularity of a pic is done with faves vs the voting system perhaps and that way you also know who faved it rather than the anonymous vote. But that's just my opinion.

If that were the case wouldn't they fav it? They faved the first one quite a bit. I'm just saying this because I watched all those votes being placed on that second one at the same time while at the same time watching the votes on the first one go down and the votes on other pictures go down as well that had a reasonable amount of votes on them.

I think OP is onto something here. I'm seeing repeating and similar names (bunnylover34 / bunnylover345, arkayan666 / arkayan6666) in the voting history. These individuals also all voted down the dragon pic. I'll look into it.

EDIT: Seems these people all share the same ip, along with a shit ton of others who joined recently (mostly in August, some today). Unfortunately, they don't share ip's with anyone who is currently banned, so technically, they're not breaking any rules. Shame.

It just seems that the vote system is an exploitable way to determine which picture is the most popular for a day. It's anonymous to everyone save mods/admins.

Say for example a picture has 30 votes on it with 130 people faving it. Well if someone who has created a bunch of dummy accounts goes in and down votes it to say 10 votes and knocks it out of the popular posts of the day and in turn votes up a picture with just 10 favs to 31 votes would the picture with 10 favs really be the most popular of that day?

Also, all these accounts share the same ip with the person who posted the pic you linked.
