Topic: Trying to get some art back up?

Posted under General

I was curious. recently, I tried to find on this site a picture done by an artist I rather enjoy. I tried to find it, but couldn't. Then, I just tried to upload my own copy, but found out it had been removed at the artists request!

Thing is, after that, I had a talk with the artist after locating them, asking if it would be alright to put their picture back up for others to enjoy. They agreed to it.

So what do I need to do to get that block put down so the image can go back up? The artist is allowing it now, so there's no reason for it to be down anymore, after all.

I would have the artist contact us.

What would I tell them though? They aren't terribly familiar with E6, and frankly, I'm not too familiar with the forum/"customer service" side of things either, so it's...a touch confusing o.o

I assume they knew enough if they got the picture taken down...just tell them to go to the contact page, reference the picture in question and why they changed their mind.

You could always just PM an admin a screencap of the conversation.

I'll give it a shot if nothing else works

Screencaps are never ever to be considered proof of anything. Ever.
