While i can see how this might be harder to keep clean and such and that e621 is a image dump site, maybe in the future those of us who draw 'and' write can post literature as well as images and flash?

I am a artist, i have an IB, FA, and SF accounts though FA is my main, i write as well and pride myself on my writing more than my artwork, though my paintings are fairly good.

On a side note:
I am sadly not versed in some of the newer internet programs, but if this gets used, is there a way to turn written works into images? if you could that could help keep the theme of e621 as a image site.

I Imagine it would need its own set of rules, DNP section, and moderators so only the top class works are approved.

Feedback is welcome, just please be respectful and helpful with the feedback.

This has actually been suggested many times before by myself, as a writer. It won't happen, as far as I've been told e621 is and always will be an image-only site.

Um, I think it was a mod on the IRC, but maybe it was like an open secret or something, whoops. Or maybe I'm misremembering the whole thing. My memory isn't the best. Maybe just ignore what I said, I'm easily confused.

As a temporary solution,one could type/write their stories in a slightly larger than average-sized text,then take a picture/screenshot and upload it as a .jpg or .png

There's the question of whether or not it would be accepted though

I don't have a problem with a story section as long as I don't have to moderate it or look at it. Or acknowledge it.

Yikes, a bit harsh there Ippiki? I'm simply asking about it because if i figured if there was a way to turn a full story into a section of pictures it would be an interesting addition to e621.
I would think mods would be writers as well since you need good proof-reading skills for that sort of thing.

Though now you've got me curious, why exactly are you so against the idea?

I would like a writing section. not only because I write, but I like reading a good story every now and again.

I'm not. Like I said, I don't have a problem with it as long as I don't have to be involved. I'm into furry 100% for the art. Everything else (to me) is just a waste of time. And I'm not trying to be harsh, I'm just not into it.

Wow, that's great. Are these going to be short stories and the like, or are we talking whole novels? Will we need a separate account because of the new user system? Also, take your time Aurali.
