Topic: Parent/child/series

So here's a question that's been bugging me for a while. I'm not entirely sure what to do about things like posts #190237-190246. It's a series of images, all pretty much the same with some editing done so that sometimes there's a ghostly dick, sometimes a ghostly finger, and sometimes jizm. True, they're (somewhat) different images, but the edits are similar to taking a picture of a dickgirl and removing the dick. And yes, they depict very different acts, but a dickgirl and a female are very different sexes. Part of me thinks they should be all linked as children to the first post, but then part of me thinks they should be put into a pool, since it's an obvious progression. But if we did that, we'd have a billion more pools, as there are a billion of these little 6 image series. However, then you could click on the first one and go through the rest with a single button.

WHAT DO?!

TL;DR When is it acceptable to leave nearly-identical-but-slightly-modified images out of parent/child relationships, and why?

Well that is a great question and I too am unsure how to handle it... Sorry I cant assist here

I'd make all of them children of the "main" one, which in this case is probably the first one or "starting" one, whatever.

That's what I was inclined to do, but didn't want to go about it without discussing it some. I still don't want to go about it, because fuck if I know how to search for all such things easily, and there are a bunch. Hokay. I move that this be added in the Tagging Projects page and the parenting begin, unless anyone comes up with reasonable arguments against it.

Wouldn't a pool be more convenient? It would be easier to manage and navigate through the set. And there is an intended progression. To me, a parent child relationship with six images just seem to be a awkward way of grouping and browsing these (or similar sets).
