I do, but not because I'm vain.
I just want to remove my real name from the Internet where possible.

You're probably not going to be successful in removing your name in many locations but I have to ask, why would you need to do that? Are you on the run? Are you undercover? Do you just hate any mention of yourself? And how do you know it's actually your name? Maybe someone else shares the same name.

I've googled myself just to see what comes up since I have a 13yr old sister who's more internet savvy than I was at that age. So far... limited porn hits.

The username I have on this site will return some relevant results if you search it in Google, mainly some of my accounts on other sites. However, you're not going to find much, if any, personally identifiable information.

Searching my first and last name returns 12 million results, none of which are me. The only place I've posted my real name online is Facebook, and you can't even find my page on Google if you very specifically search for it.

As for my full name, it's pretty unique, and when searched in quotes comes up with no results.

So I take it you've looked through ALL 12 million results?

I get 9,510 for my full name, in quotes, so it's probably me in all 9,510 results.

My username turns out 134K results, though most aren't me because of a blasted Greenhouse and Sunbeam Grill with HG3300 as the model number.

When I search my username, I get what I'm pretty sure is pornstars Sasha Grey and Maria Mendez.

Image searching produces the occasional upload here on e621 from me.

no, but then again i'm not a very interesting person. i just did though, turns out i am engaged to an very pretty girl, shaved my head for kids going through chemotherapy to make wigs, and am also a very hateful son o' a bitch on twitter who goes by the alies DNIGHTLORD14 (the last one is me)

I got about 5k results, most of them duplicates and all of them absolutely boring.

I avoid doing so whenever possible, same reason why I don't use facebook; there's always the off chance you will see something you said three years ago that sounds really stupid to you now, same reason I use a fake name so often.
