SCP-011 is worse. Barely.

I feel so virginized and noobish... This is the first ive heard of scp ### anythings lol

Updated by anonymous

Eh. I don't really read them, I run the simulated tests. I read the stuff every so often, but those games are terrifying if I do say so myself. Especially SCP-087-B, though I've only run SCP-087, SCP-087-B, and SCP-Containment Breach.

I dunno, maybe I'm just easily frightened.

And there I go... Back into lostville. Whats the scp things... Like bata test grounds or something?

Updated by anonymous

Lol ippiki you are one of the coolest asses, that link... Won the game. I would have googled it if my lunch break was longer. Thanks though

Looking for horror in SCP's is like looking for milkshakes at Jamba juice.

Oh please, you've known about the SCP foundation for 8 hours. You've read way too few to make a cogent assessment of what it has to offer.

I really like the concept and the execution of it but some of the stories are a little lack luster for me.

And I now realize that I got you mixed up with Ivorywolf in my previous statement. I cannot stress enough how sorry I am for that.

Do you have a favorite or noteworthy SCP?

For some reason, 004 and 455 always stuck with me. A lot of people seem to gravitate toward 087, but I found it contrived and predictable.

the reason people gravitate towards 087 is because it was made into a simulation game, and had it not, many people may not have ever heard of it.

I'm not even going to ask how you found that or why there are so many toaster fanfics out there for that matter.

I don't know why either, it just felt like "spooky ghost story" to me. 004 reminds me so much of the space bubble anomaly from STALKER

For the sake of not derailing a third topic this week with you I'll steer back on course and ask, why is this SCP log here? And yes, the people love you and they love your toast.

SCPs that I particularly enjoy:
050
055
085 (<3 cassy)
172 (the original! Significantly creepier when read without context, the way it was in the beginning)
225
294
732 (I particularly enjoy the way it adds an in-universe explanation for really bad writing from new contributors)
756
914

All the SCPs I've read so far are incredibly dull.

You know, after clicking around on google, there's still not much that says what SCPs actually are. :V There's the wiki which refuses to say anything out of character (not helpful). It's also a home dining and furniture website and a means of transferring computer files.

Luckily for me, I think a friend told me about this. It's a bunch of short horror stories, right?
would it have killed anyone just to say that? :V

Yes, because it's not true.

Updated by anonymous

Well than I still have no idea what SCPs are then because no one's given a straight answer.

Updated by anonymous

Man, this whole SCP thing is starting to become a trend....

video games where nothing happens
they were made in 5 minutes each and are supposed to be scary

They are short science-fiction flavored stories, sometimes intended to be creepy, other times just indended to be cool.

This is what I like most about the foundation. They hint at being a regular fiction site but do so in a way that never breaks forth wall, so to speak. Sure some of the SCP's are a little dull but think of it like this: most scientific reports usually are very dull and it gives it a higher sense of realism.

Some, however, are just funny.

Updated by anonymous

Maybe, but there's a difference between "Scientific dull" and "Bad writing dull"...
In any case, I don't have time to read all the reports anyway....

I like the one with all the gears and shit! I forgot what it was called though. I remember it had 3 settings and you shouldn't put living things inside.

Updated with new post, in comic form.

I find your rendition of 682 to be entirely too cute. Nicely done though. I'm interested in some of the yet unclassified SCP's such as the entity within SCP-432

Updated by anonymous

Thank you, somehow I got the idea from a commissioner of that
subject. And it troubled me that only two people had tried to
turn SCP-682 into an anthro-fied version.

Keep tabs on the comic, made to be senseless unless followed. :D

Updated by anonymous

Oh, don;t get me wrong. My view personal imagined view of 682 has no bearing on the way it was portrayed in such a cute scalie manner. I find what you've done to be wonderfully creative and a great addition to the SCP fandom.

Updated by anonymous

I see, thank you still for appreciating it.
I'll be working on the next comic showing why
SCP-682 became "that" form.

Ah, that would alleviate the confusion I had about said form. I look forward to it. Have you contributed any entries to the site? Also, why do you dislike Dr. Bright? :)

Y'know, my initial opinion on SCP was lukewarm at best.

But then I spent two days reading the archives. And am now playing in a SCP-based GURPS game.

Holy good goddamn. I love this shit. I just wish the community wasn't so elitist.

I find you and your SCP remind me a lot of The Bottleship.

Similarities can be distinguished, except that one is in space.

The thing is I read the link and knew what it was, yet I still clicked it and raged hard.

There was no reason for me to click it in the first place, I know precisely what SCPs are
