RICHMOND, Va. - Child pornography is illegal even if the pictures are drawn, a federal appeals panel said in affirming the nation's first conviction under a 2003 federal law against such cartoons.

Dwight Whorley of Richmond is serving 20 years in prison, convicted in 2005 of using a public computer for job-seekers at the Virginia Employment Commission to receive 20 Japanese cartoons, called anime, illustrating young girls being forced to have sex with men. Whorley also received digital photographs of actual children engaging in sexual conduct and sent and received e-mails graphically describing parents sexually molesting their children.

Judge Paul V. Niemeyer noted in the majority opinion that the statute under which Whorley was convicted, the PROTECT Act of 2003, clearly states that "it is not a required element of any offense under this section that the minor depicted actually exists."

So basicly it doesn't matter if its anime or furry.I mean they blur the lines occasionaly,do they not?

It is much harder to say that a furry is underage, due to factors such as the rate of aging for such a character and the style of the artist combined with certain levels of anthropomorphism (a cutely drawn furry with small breasts).

It is also arguable that bestiality laws apply.

This is the point where I point out it seems he's trying to actively get himself banned so that he can feel vindicated for revealing 'the truth' and so he'll have some sort of soapbox base to stand on to say 'hey see everyone I told you the mods would ban me for calling for an end to their precious pedo arts and look, they banned me! His options don't look good. Looking over the current banned users list, we have two super-duper creepy/awkward (Kan/Kan-level) posters, two people who posted sexyfur stuff, two people who were posting links to real life bestiality movies, a guy trying to use this place as his personal underaged gay fetish dating/hookup site, and a genuine crazyperson who sent me hilariously over the top emails about how us 'americans' are basically the antichrist. (Note: only a single person involved with this site is American out of the entire staff.)

So I mean, you guys are probably in for a pretty funny show no matter who we've got here, once I can be assed to check who it actually is.

You are totally right, he now thinks he is all and mighty and that he is right and other people are not. I have seen this thing countless times on other forums, and from what i can see the only thing why are they doing that is to make them selfs feel better about being banned and about feeling rejected.

And this all could have been avoided by just reading the rules.

Either way this won't effect me seeing as I have giant magnets and am constantly hiding behind 2 firewalls and an IP hider + I change my real one on a weekly basis. If I did get in trouble for having furry porn I'd give the police that arrested me kudos for arresting me for masturbating. It'd be quite a funny and awkward case ;D that's for sure.
