If I'm indeed such an asshole (as you had so politely labeled me through tact and foggy wordings), why do people bother with replying to me in my threads? It DOES take two people to create conflict. 90% of the time, I'm unaware of what it is I'm being "brash" about, mostly because people are super-sensitive..

To be fair, you do come off as kind of an asshole. Among other things, using overly idiosyncratic or slangy modes of writing can make you seem annoying. (Yes, even on the internet. It's a textual medium, so the way you type is important. You don't have to write like the bitchiest of English teachers to come off as a decent person, either.) On top of that, you've made rather sharply accusing posts, especially when starting threads--like this one, or 'it's been said that I'm doing it wrong, uhh I'm sure I'm not'.

I've been pretty nice because I'm a bit more optimistic about people, so I was willing to type up that whole critique of your art, but other people aren't going to be nice, and they're not going to care whether that makes you upset. Welcome to the internet; if you got upset about everything, you'd never get anything done.

You want other people to grow up but you're going to start a thread to complain about how people think you come off as overly confrontational?
