However, it seems to be returning results which I have already voted upon.

And now I ask you, gentle reader, what other sorts of useful searches can you think of or do? I'm looking for ideas with general applications. I don't really care about particular kink-related searches, only things like this which many people might go "Oooh... that is a pretty good idea. I should do that too!"

Isn't when you fave a post it automatically gets updated upvoted?

I think only privileged and higher work that way. Those of us who are just members only get to vote on an image only once. Privileged and higher get a vote when fav'ing and again when voting. One of the perks they get.

That is something you should probably ask aurali in a pm, every voted:... or faved:... needs to be programmed seperately and so do the -voted:... ones, which means they are entirely seperate functions. So those things don't work properly sometimes, it only gets worse if you use more than one at a time.

So asking her if -voted:... works properly is probably the fastest method to finding out if there is a problem.

With that said, you can trick the search by utilizing your blacklist.
Simply add the term you want to negate (in this case your voted:azazial) and put in on a new line in your blacklist, as this works exactly as a negated search, then search for the positiv terms, your fav:azazial.

To further refine it, you probably may want to use votedup:Azazial instead of the general voted.

And don't forget to take the voted:azazial off of your blacklist after you're done.

Negating metatags has odd results and usually doesn't work as intended

cause negative tags for scores do not work as they would result in horrible horribleness
