People complaining about me flood-posting high quality artwork is nothing new, but it is the first time an artist complained ;)

I don't see the need for any distinction between artwork sourced from CDs and artwork sourced from Inuki's FA page, as CDs are not available for purchase. Personally, I see the attempt to stifle the distribution and sharing of something that is impossible to obtain may fall somewhere between selfishness and censorship.

Just because I respect someones artistic talent does not mean I have to respect the person.

Or maybe she just wants to share those pictures in amongst friends... or maybe she's got a 'limited edition' thing going on. I've got pictures of myself I don't want the general public seeing...are you going to tell me that's only selfish censorship?

They are her fucking pictures let her do with them what she wants.

I'm stuck between believing in a free internet and not caring because she only draws children.

It is the latter. The physical CDs themselves, are indeed 'limited edition' and I have no intention of doing anything to change that.

Data is data, essentially a number. I have no problem with me obtaining, storing, and retransmitting a number.

Nope, it isn't, but providing data to the public, who then share, and you complain and demand it be taken down IS selfish censorship.

I would prefer that any photos of myself I post online don't get defaced and posted on Rule34, but if this happens I won't bitch and moan about it, it is my own fault for making them available.

If I just wanted my friends to have these photos, I would have to trust that they won't redistribute them, if they break my trust, it is my own fault for trusting them in the first place - no one else's.

Any attempt to monetize the distribution of a product that is inherently extremely easy to mass-duplicate and redistribute is flawed.

so it's their fault for trusting the other person in the first place? and that then somehow entitles you to distribute the content further?

I don't see why it's so difficult to honor Inuki's polite request. You gain nothing by alienating an artist.

I see a simple solution to this problem.

I had a good talk with Arca who was very helpfull and I do not wanted be put on the DNP.
I wrote you so you WONT AGAIN spam all the baord with again 400+ pictures.
mots of the art was for friends and also on my artcds that were indeed limited :/
Since you was the only one uploading such a flood I of course contact you so you wont upload all again once the art I requested got removed.
I not wanne make more work to the admins here and I dont want to say "hell Im a bitch put me on DNP"

If my simple request for you was to much to follow well yeah it seems the solution is simple and I need request the DNP T_T

Im very sorry for the work mellis, I thought to contact the guy that flooded the 400+ pictures would give us all a lot less work and keep the board clean.
I aöready send the list with the related artworks ,tell me what I can do to easy the work a bit.

my attempt was to not get on the DNP list so people could still share some art of me here without reposting all my Art CDs and folios plus double posting stuff.

If you see it that way my only choice is to request DNP in the end since it seems you will do again flood the board :/

No worries Inuki. Kitsu is not a moderator or policy maker for the site and we've bumped heads in the past because he feels he can dictate how things are run here despite having no authority to do so. I've removed him from the equation. It shouldn't happen again.

Thank you for keeping a polite and level head in all this. I don't want to add you to the DNP, and we do make every effort to remove pay material as per our posting guidelines.

If you could flag the offending images with the deletion queue I'll see to it they're removed.

Cant tell you how happy Im that this goes so smooth and easy. Really dont mind some piccs here and there and people can rage and vent on them XD But 400 is just way to much. I send the list but I can go throw them all again and flag them :3 (some I did already cause of Sexyfur and reposts but I didnt catched all)

Honestly Kitsu, this is REALLY not cool. Inuki is being really polite, and she's a nice person, and is being far from unreasonable.

I generally thought you were a pretty cool dude. But this is seriously a jerk move. Have some respect for artists, especially nice ones like Inuki who aren't raving lunatics like we see far too often.

EDIT: Okay fine. I'm totally being a kiss ass because she's my favorite artist. But yeah. I think this just re-establishes one of the reasons she's my favorite artist. Jeeze, I think this is the most polite any artist has ever requested a takedown on the site.

really no problem guys most of the credit goes to the admins here who are far farrrrrrr away from what people told me about them. Im actually a fan cause this site is cool for really finding nice rare piccs and even so there is rage here and there it doesnt bother :3 so no need to add anything more than to flag the piccs,clean a bit and let people do and post what they feel like (but not again 200+ in one flood xD;;;; )

and nothing of value is lost. can't say kitsu's uploads weren't my favorite, no wait yes i can. i wonder what were in those limited time cds though, i do rather like inuki's style.

What a shame. I'll miss all the 200-tag posts.
