Hello, since today May 22nd, 2013 I've been having issues with my account. When I try to sign in it will give me the incorrect password message several times before going, and if that doesn't work then resetting my password fixes it for about a minute. Every time I log back in I stay logged in for a minute or so and then when I try to access another page on the site I find myself to no longer be logged in. Please help, this is getting really annoying.

They're fucking with the site. That's bound to cause issues while it's happening.

Considering the laundry list of things varka installed while I slept, I can think of 2 things that can do this. I'll speak to him asap about it.

Don't log out you can't log back in at the moment.

This is happening to me too. Tried clearing my cookies/cache/history and nothing. Like Anvil Smith said, I log in for a while and then suddenly I'm logged out again

I did it and I'm logged in again… well, at least on my phone… but like previosly said, I'm in then out then in, out, in, out.

Yeah, I'm getting this, too. I'm able to log in, but as soon as I do anything, even upvote--and sometimes when I don't do anything--it logs me out while I'm still on the page.

Sorry about the issues with logging in; I have had a poke around and seem to have rectified the issue.

Well after a while I could finally log in, thanks!

Edit: Nope, I got logged out like 4 times already just by switching pages, and trying to log in again it's kind of difficult because it automatically redirects to "You are not logged in", I had to erase cookies just to enter again :S

Well, I've been experiencing 500s ocassionally here and there but I take that for the maintenance. But so far so good! :D

Well,I've been on for awhile and so far it's looking good. I think it's fixed and I'd like to thank Varka and the rest of the Admin team for being so quick to fix it. Y'all're the best!

Hey, so I posted yesterday that there were problems with my account and I've since then said that the problems seemed fixed. I have just discovered that though there has been an insane reduction the problem still exists, though now it only takes about one attempt to log back in.

Is anobydy else still having problems while logging in? because now I can't seem to stay logged for longer than a minute, and it's getting kinda annoying because it takes a lot of tries just to get logged :S

Actually as of today I've been getting those random 'ACCESS DENIEDs' then immediate disconnect from account, Followed by anywhere between 2-5 relogs to get back in.

I had issues for a few minutes.. huh.

And the problems are back, yes.
Edit: I did a test, and it seems two out of three times when I go to a new page I get immediately logged out.

Something seems wrong.

Got the same problem since yesterday.

I dont think the cookies are a problem, cause I tried it with and without them (they taste good btw ^^)

When I open a post or change the page i´m off

Went from page 1 to page two of this and it logged me out DX it's so annoying

.. gotta get a list of things varka changed that night.. this is daily and it doesn't seem to be any updates to the code. Anyhow. reset nginx. should resolve the issue for now.

It seems that the issues (gesundheit) are rare on my computer, but in my phone I get them more frequently… probably because I had the script that kept me logged in (which would be weird because it doesn't create any cookie). Also, clearing cookies/cache seems to fix this bug temporally but after a while I'm logged off again…

Edit: Also, previewing comments (in posts) doesn't work…

It seems it's fixed for now (again). When I managed to upload an image a few hours ago I thought it was finally over but it then logged me out and kept me like that until I tried again now...

Well the error is back now (at least to me), I got logged off after trying to post in the two game forums, took me a few tries to finally get here because it kicks me each 2 of 3 pages I browse.

I'll add to this issue, I have to keep C&Ping where I am in the posts and reloading after a page or 3 cause it logs me out.

I haven't had any issues, but it may be because I've been logged in for months.

Can confirm this, been logged in on this machine (Win7 64, Firefox 21) at least a week, no problems here.
Logged in on my phone (Android 2.3.4., Opera Mobile 14) yesterday and keep getting booted.

Me too. I've been logged in on this computer (Windows XP, Opera 12.15) since forever (well, not exactly forever… is there any way to check first login?) and haven't had any problems. On my phone (Android 2.2, Opera Mobile 12.10) is where the fun started. Logged in since 11 May (I know exactly when because had problems with my phone. Those kind of days can't be forgotten that easily, y'know) and just got kicked out 2 days ago

That explains why esix was down for me a while ago (standard error page). That or I have the worst ISP ever

Well I have been logged for about 15 minutes now and I'm still here so I think it's working, although I wanna wait until tomorrow (because of the daily log error) to be sure.

The time I get the errors is around 0:00 - 2:00 Alpha (GMT/UMT +1)

Well it was good while it lasted, I started to get logged off again, took me some tries to get here.

Edit: After reading below that anybody else had problems, I deleted cookies, cache and stuff and it seems that I'm good again...

I haven't been logged off at all, but I do keep getting frequent HTTP error 500s (Internal Server Errors). Usually right after posting image/forum comments. Reloading the page fixes it.

The problems seem to have mostly stopped now, except that it looks like I'm logged out (in that the 'My Account' link is replaced with 'Login/Signup') whenever I click on 'Posts' on the top there. If I go to any other page or do a search then everything is fine and I am logged in.

Well, 7/8 login attempts aren't failing, and I can navigate further than one page before getting logged out again, so that's improved. I was effectively DoS'd down to an anonymous guest.

So far so good. I'll (try to) post back in here if I have problems.

Never mind, everything is back to normal for me.

Ok. I unexpectedly logged out once. Noticed around 1:50AM (GMT -6:00), logged back in, and resumed with no further issues. I was just browsing posts.

I guess I should mention that I've experienced unintended log outs at least two months prior to this thread's creation. For instance, I commonly had to log in twice, essentially, for whatever reason. Usually the initial login succeeded, and then I was logged out shortly after browsing away from the My Account page. Those issues seemed to disappear over time.

However, I can still reliably force myself to log out by clicking on certain links posted in the News section. Upon closer inspection, these links direct me to http pages on e621 rather than https. In fact, I believe loading an http e621 address will always break my session. I can understand why, but it's still unintended.

postgresql took a dump, reset that and nginx, everything seems to be running fine.
