Topic: Blacklisting doesn't work...

Posted under General

According to some folks, blacklisting doesn't work. Discuss that here.

Word of warning: I personally have no idea how this feature is expected by you guys to work! If I can get some test cases where your expectations fail to be met by what we have in place right now, I can help improve the situation and make you guys happy.

Urrr...yes, it works for me. My blacklist:

watersports
scat
vore
anal_vore
hard_vore
garry's_mod
hyper

I think people are just being fucktarted. Newline each tag, idiots.

Edit: Making furs happy? UNPOSSIBLE.

Edit edit: newfags can't blacklist

*adds stuff to her non existant black list* works for me.

Given how often this issue (i.e. user mistake) comes up, would it be possible to add something along the lines of "PUT EACH BLACKLIST TAG ON A SEPARATE LINE" on the settings page? Something in bright red letters people can't ignore?

It's sad that the thought of people actually reading and following bright red letters is hilarious.

Yeah, no, I'll probably just throw something in the Rails flash that asks the user whether or not he/she is aware that he/she is a fucking moron. :)

What I'll probably do is just spit out the software's interpretation of a blacklist each time it's updated. "Here's how I see things..." so to speak.
