Hello, I just wondered what does mean the color at left on the tag history ; it can be green, yellow, red, orange, etc. I looked on the Help section but I found absolutely nothing about this.

Also, is there a way to mass edit pictures ? I saw Riverside uploading a bunch of pictures, and it was the good opportunity to add the Aliasing tag on some pictures, but it would became too tedious and I gave up >:

The colors to the left of tag history mean absolutely nothing and are just calculated based on some things like the post ID and such. Mass editing is only available to moderators and up (possibly privileged, but I don't think so).

Well...

Green is a character. (like Donatello (TMNT)). These are made by entering character:donatello_(TMNT).
Red is an artist. (Like, zen or wolfy-nail). These are made by entering Artist:zen.
Purple is 'copyright' (Example, teenage mutant ninja turtles or my little pony). These are made by entering copyright:my_little_pony.

light blue is 'regular'.. that is to say, nothing special.

You can always press the ? next to the tag to get a little more information (sometimes) about it, including what sort of tag it is.

I THINK that's all of the tag colors.

as for mass editing...

I don't know.. but I DO know that the tags you enter most recently, are saved on a list displayed below when you edit a tag. So, the easiest way *I* know if to mass edit would be to edit one and get the 'relevant' tags on top of your list, then mass open all the other images, click edit, then click the tag from the list and save it. It still takes work, but it's faster then retyping every time.. just gotta get into the rhythm of it.

Alternatively, copy and paste is pretty cool.

There might be a faster way, but I don't know it.

Yeah, I meant the colors on the URL you pointed out. I though it was something about "omygod this tagging is bad I will rate it -1". It's really easy to fright me

And dah. I really had a boost of motivation to tag a bunch of pictures, I just wish I could be a moderator or have enough permissions to do that, even if I don't stand much a chance with my really bay English I have :V

I will stay with the standards and edit all one by one using FireFox tabs

You can tag things just fine, you don't need to be a mod or anything... Now go tag things.

Even if I was the greatest member and I could be moderator I (seriously) will decline the offer because the staff here already does a pretty good job *salutes the team*

I found a way to mass tag edit, and it was right in front of my face : The The Mode option on the left. I never paid attention to this and I thought it was a tool for the admins and moderators. More faster than opening each pictures in their own tabs.

I am out of the subject, but I try to upload something since yesterday, and each time I got the Failbooru message. Is there a problem with the upload ? I did not see something new since too
