How is the post limit calculated? Since the site went down, my calculation now reads "10 + (32 / 10) - (0 / 4) - 9 = 4"

Which is strange, because I can upload more than four images, and I have no idea where the - 9 at the end came from. I haven't gotten any warnings, or done anything to upset anyone, so I'm confused about it.

I did find a couple of threads that explained the first couple of numbers, but I still can't find an explanation of that - 9 on the end.

Can someone who knows how this works please explain?

The - 9 at the end is the amount of images you've uploaded in the past 24 hours. Right now, you can only upload 4 more images before you hit the post limit.

Actually it's the number of uploaded posts that haven't been approved yet. So if your limit is 14, then once you upload 14 images, you can't upload any more until a mod approves some first. Once they approve one then you can upload one more.

Isn't there a way that that equation can be written out simpler? It looks like a bunch of gibberish to me.
Of course, I only have a 9th grade understanding of math and a Grade 10, so...whatever....lol

Each number is a different variable, so it wouldn't really make sense to simplify it

Also, way to admit to being underage

10 + (a / 10) - (b / 4) - c = d
A = Posts approved
B = Posts deleted
C = Posts Pending
D = Posts Available.
