I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say it sucks that all of Naylor's art got taken down. But now I noticed that some of it is coming back, did he start allowing us to post it again or is it just his new stuff we can do?

Was never DNP. Post it all you want, but expect it to get deleted.

My understanding is that he recently relaxed the DNP on his art to allow people to post his older work. He's no longer listed on the DNP, but it would probably behoove all of us to limit posts to anything that's at least 3 years old.

So will all of his deleted works from over 2 years ago be un-deleted anytime soon?

Nope, Jay requested removal of everything, it's not comin' back up here.

Your best bet would be to actually ask him. If he's cool with it then it's unlikely he'll have it deleted.

Well at least he's off the DNP, but his other works that got deleted were my favs :( Oh well maybe he'll let someone post them up I wasn't able to save them while they were here. Thanks for the info everyone

He was never ON the DNP list to begin with. He has never requested to be DNP. I would still avoid posting any of his pay-for material though.

Actually, Char, Naylor was on the DNP list from the start of e621 until March 4, 2010. They didn't give a fuck about him being on there, though, seeing as nothing of his ever got deleted.

That's why it's a good idea to ask an artist's permission before posting their work, especially if they have a history of demanding take-downs.
