He found a picture that he thought was funny so he posted it on the forums and added some rhetorical commentary that he thought clever, possibly hoping to start some humorous banter in the thread.

Unfortunately, most of the users have already seen the image (post #56840) and are either tired of the joke, didn't find it funny to begin with, or completely failed to grasp the intent of the thread because of its context as a forum post.

Sorry bro, you picked a really bad audience and have a really bad setup. It would've made more sense to make that comment on the actual upload page on e621.
