I feel like I have been spending a hell of a lot more time in the forum than on pretty much any other part of e621...or other places on the internet...

I have been spending more time on the forum recently, yes. However, I get put off by a lot of threads with no substance. In my experience it makes forums break down into popularity contests.
I'm talking about your word game threads :V Yes, they're popular, but they're kinda boring and they're not really... adding anything, y'know?

Good forums have discussion, not mindless post-gathering!

Well ill be... I should have known! Nobody loves an animal just for its geographical location... Even if the odds of seeing ANY hawk in chicago are slim to none and therefore pretty damn cool and potentially noteworthy... I feel bamboozled.

I've always spent a lot of time on the forums, so I don't spend more time than usual.

Actually, when it comes to birds, I don't think Chicago even HAS Blackhawks. Of course, there's the American Indian tribe, but aren't they technically called the Sauk? Go Coyotes... or at least try not to let Los Angeles sweep you. ;)

I check the forums every few minutes but I never leave the site for more than 3 hours at a time.

I usually stay off the forum due to a rather bland selection of topics. But now you've pulled me in and I'll never get my productivity back.

On the actual topic: I find myself rather on the forums of whatever site, but to be honest, I don´t expect a serious or interesting discussion since most of these are either jacked or burnmarked as esoterically pointless, and if that didn´t happen then they already progressed that much that seamlessly joining in wouldn't be worth the effort...

My perception is known to be deferred, though...
