(If you can't find the ad, it's on every page, in the top left. If it's not there, you're blocking it. Didn't I say to turn off your ad blockers?!)

And you're probably better off just putting a banner along the bottom. Most sites don't have a small banner like that, so if you need a new one your options will be limited.

Putting it somewhere on the page where nobody will see it would pretty much completely defeat the point of having an advertisement at all.

Is that a good filter to use for white-listing?

I refuse to disable my ad-block filter entirely since some of these ads are very annoying, but the new one isn't.

Also, I use ad-block to remove e621's logo, since it wastes space on many pages.
