Sometime yesterday I posted 3 pics and now they're deleted. It's strange because in my 'deleted posts' page it doesn't give a reason or even the post ID number. Just confused because there's no obvious reason for them being deleted. One of them was by Kisu and the quality was good.

Are things ever removed just because someone doesn't like them or does there have to be a good reason?

Something is deleted if:

It's a repost.
It's SexyFur/Bernal, in which case you wouldn't be talking right now.
It's against the TOS, such as real pornography, completely off-topic/unrelated, like avatars and the like.
It's exceedingly low-quality (quality of the image itself, not of the art).
The artist of the work requested that it be taken down.
It's paysite content newer than two years old.
An entire comic rip (one or two pages is acceptable).

And to answer your question, an image will never be deleted just because somebody doesn't like it. Many people are banned for flagging images with stupid deletion reasons.

The images were probably removed because of either trolls successfully tricking a moderator, because it's DNP or because you uploaded a really low-quality image (really bad compression artifacts, tiny resolution etc.)

Then there must have been some mistake. I know that 43316 couldn't have been DNP because it was by Kisu and there have been Kisu pics here for ages that haven't been deleted. What's more, all Kisu's pics are high-quality so that couldn't have been the reason.

tony311, do you mind if I post that pic again? You could check it on my profile if you want to see what you think, if had a reason for being deleted.

If an image was taken down, it was taken down for a reason. No, you don't need to know every reason. If it's serious enough an issue, then it will be noted. Posting it again after you know it's been deleted is a fantastic way to make sure you get banned, though. By all means! Give it a go!

While I didn't personally delete the images, checking through the old logs, if I had to guess, one or two of them were likely takedown requests by the artists, and one was a artifact-riddled, poor quality MS-paint piece of shit covered in spelling errors. Another of them is only marginally better.
