Hello!

This is my first time posting on the e621 forums. I am TheUnderDog, aka DarkSilence on FA. Just call me Blake =)

I've been drawing furry art in a sporadic sort of way for about 15 years, though I've recently become more committed to improving my skills. One thing I find is a problem is motivation in seeing a picture through to the end.

Something I find to be a massive help is audience participation and feedback, so with that in mind I set up a vote to help decide which big, burly dude in mild bondage I should draw next.

The first in this series I'm calling Muscle, Bound (I make no apologies for puns) was [NSFW] Bowser and now I'm wondering who should be next.

I was tempted to give more context on the poll page itself, but I have no idea what that website's policy is on linking to NSFW material; I thought it better to play it safe. Thank you for the suggestion, though.

I'm still learning how powerful e621's DText is, and I've put tag-links for Banjo_(Banjo-Kazooie), Yooka, Midbus, and machoke in the blip I did. I also learnt what a 'blip' is.

Yeah, there is something about Machoke that makes them a top tier between the muscular characters, isn't it?

@Jugofthat: You're welcome! It's kind of a selfish way for me to boost my motivation, but if free art that folks wanna see happens as a result, it's all good, right?

@NoctemWerewolf: They have a certain reptilian look to them that I like! Plus they're wearing speedos, so you know that they're definitely got something going on under there.

@memeboy: I was most definitely not expecting that suggestion! I'm not sure if I have the artistic skill to do the Crazy Frog justice, but I'll definitely consider it.

Thanks to everyone that voted! Banjo won with a little help from Yooka, and I should have the final thing finished over the weekend.

Fear not, anyone who voted for Midbus or Machoke. They'll be up for the vote again next week; along with a new contender entering the ring.

Round #3 is up for the vote now, and anyone who was disappointed with Midbus' performance last time will be pleased to know he's currently in first.

The newcomer this week is pangoro, which are pokemon that look like pandas.

@Scakk: Weregarurumon is one of my all-time favourites, so he'll definitely be on the list when I pluck up the courage to do him justice. You reckon he might wear a jockstrap under those nasty torn-up jeans of his? I'm liking the way you think :]

@treos: lucarios and riolus are indeed lovely, but they are a little too slim and delicate for what I've got going on here.

Aw yeah! That looks pretty sweet! Seriously.

Though... I think it would instantly be even better if you could somehow add a bit of lower leg HERE, even just the slightest hint, since he's actually got a bit of an amputee look right now. Kneeled poses can be very tricky and error-prone in several ways, and this is one of them that you see a lot.

Not saying you should, y'know, just an idea. I'm not paying so I'm not exactly in any position to order you around. :P

@RioluKid: Yessss! I was originally a bit concerned that the series would end up being nothing by Pokemon and Digimon, but I can definitely make allowance for him <3

@Jugofthat: Thank you for the feedback! Whatever people may think, constructive criticism is *the* most useful gift you can give an artist. I absolutely agree that machoke looks like he had an unfortunate encounter with an industrial thresher. It wasn't my intention, and unfortunately I'd run out of steam to make further changes by the time I'd noticed. Check your messages!
