ok so im sorry for posting a generally useless thread but...

it really pushed me the wrong way when 3 uploads i did like an hour ago get downvoted multiple times.

i honestly dont understand how anyone could dislike them so much, i mean...look at it, how can you?

Because people have BS opinions and if one downvotes, they take the sheep mentality (or lemmings mentality). That, because they love to hate, they want to because they can, this place is just...bad vibes all over, you know? I see where you're coming from.

To sum up, people are full of s**t, plain and simple.

Easy: low quality art, jerking animation because low framerate, unnatural movement of the straps.

Now if I could only find out why mine gets the same reactions....

Conversely, just because something isn't the best quality doesn't mean everyone has to hate it, either. I'm just saying.

I know for a fact that I told you my opinion why your stuff gets down voted, even if I can't speak for everybody those are the biggest issues most will have with your things.

Fair enough, but what rule states that people aren't allowed to do that? If someone/ people dislike something there's nothing wrong with displaying that dislike.

That you have, and I appreciate your feedback. Though I admit that there are times where I feel that people will still hate what I post as I continually improve. There's still a feeling in inadequacy, if you will.

Never intended to implicate that, but a certain level of civility should be expected when expressing ones distaste for a particular topic, that's all. Unfortunately, far too often I see people getting targeted, this should never happen.

What I mean by a certain level is expressing distaste without flat out insulting the person, rather than the art itself. The fact so many are attacked is disheartening.

3) You can't accept the fact that people aren't always going to like what you upload, especially when you upload three of the exact same gifs in a row, with the only difference being recolors, a tail and/or with minimal clothing added.

Hear, hear, I'm in the same boat, it sucks a lot. Only super high quality stuff gets upvoted here, obviously -_- I don't even know how my uploads were approved, because they too clearly aren't up to the standards of the users on here.

I don't care about downvoting unless it's abuse of multiple accounts. You are advocating for dishonesty, and threatening to leave over "abusive downvotes", not even mean comments.

There are bad vibes everywhere, and this place does a good job of keeping drama to a minimum.

What do you propose we do? Are downvote still not a good thing to accrue though?
I don't suspect any abuse going on, as far as I know, but what would be more conducive for us to see it as, if I may ask? It feels like no matter how hard we try, it's not good enough :/

Easy, determine the appeal through views and favorites.

Easier said than done, because with the view counter temporarily disabled....anyways. That, and I went through my gallery and it's inconsistent (the appeal, what people like, don't like, etc.), and I can't seem to discern any patterns yet, but...I can at least try to do that some more, that is, determine the appeal.

Downvotes have nothing to do with whether picture stays or goes. It could cause users not to see the image if they search score:>=0 or if they don't want to click on images with a lot of downvotes. There is no penalty to you for getting downvoted.

Poor quality images and certain fetishes like inflation, scat, beestings etc. will almost always get downvoted by somebody. You just have to ignore it and move on.

How I wish I knew what not to do earlier. C'est la vie I suppose. But at least I know what I can for next time :)

Dunno if it's the downvotes that bother people as much as certain comments.

Animation is not smooth, it's disproportionate, low-quality, looks rushed, and they resemble more like eggs than booty.

So just go through galleries, note the patterns, if any, what people like, what's popular. Also adding into it, the composition, lighting/shadows, positions, etc? Like that?

DaHuskyM9 explained the reasons it was probably downvoted. "People don't like seeing booty" was not one of them.

Booty is a two way street. People expect to see that perfect booty. They will notice even the tiniest of flaws in a booty. If there's too many flaws in a booty, that booty will be hated because it is not a perfect booty. It's really a hit or miss.

No, go through your uploads, note what gets views and favorites, and what doesn't. Then work towards doing more of what gets more attention.
