I woke up this morning and went about my day normally, completely unsuspecting. I finally find the time to check my dA and LO AND BEHOLD I FIND ITS RENARDS GODDAMNED BIRTHDAY. Well shit.
What do I do? The only thing a deluded fan with no time on his hands does in my position. I whip up an unfinished little retarded doodle in ten minutes and post it as a work in progress. BECAUSE. I JUST. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.
But really, I /will/ finish this. I've just been so...fucking...busy. What with the school year ending, I have several projects due this week [several due the week before I had been working on too], studying for finals, squeezing in time for friends- between all that and dog sitting, my free time for art has been consumed. And I feel bad because I have so much to draw, including SOMETHING to show my appreciation for my favorite musical artist. Its... not good. But its SOMETHING. And the guy is entitlement to SOMETHING from a total stranger on the internet for his birthday.
