Day 13 - Forneus
Forneus is a female demon who teaches rhetoric and languages, gives men a good name, and makes them be loved by their friends and foes. Forneus can bestow a good reputation to those who are deserving. The demon Forneus is primarily a protection demon. Though most people think of demons as evil-doers, Forneus protects others from the acts of malevolent demons. She is depicted as a great sea monster although she can assume many different forms but mainly prefers her human form, and when angered he takes the form of a massive sea monster.

-- As you enter the next chamber, you feel as if you are floating in water. Despite being surrounded by fish, you don't feel wet and can breathe normally. Suddenly, you notice a massive sea monster emerging from the inky darkness, circling you. Frozen in fear, you watch as it stops and faces you. The monster seems to resemble a cachalot whale with a woman's face. She speaks and asks if you are okay, as a wayward mortal has stumbled into her domain. You nod in fear, and she introduces herself as Forneus, a marchioness of Hell. She expresses her excitement at meeting a demonologist and you begin to chat with her, floating around and enjoying your conversation. After a while, you decide to leave and wave goodbye to Forneus as you continue on your journey.
