Incident Report

at approximately [REDACTED] an investigation team from [REDACTED] LLC responded to what they claim was an anomalous power spike at [REDACTED], which [REDACTED] LLC owns as a "cold site". Investigations reveal a trail from powered lighting and security doors leading from an onsite generator and terminating at the room before that location represented in this image. Said image was recovered from a damaged DSLR camera's memory card, with dozens of other image files and several video files of apparent varying length. All other files on the device are degrades to the point of being unrecoverable and unusable. The DSLR camera was one of two items recovered from the scene, the other being a nearby headlamp with a depleted battery. The location of the remaining image was thoroughly investigated by a CSI team upon request of [REDACTED]. The CSI team reported no DNA or evidence upon the scene and only a single set of fingerprints on the recovered camera and headlamp, said fingerprints do not match any on file. Finally, identification of the woman and organism in the picture has been inconclusive, leading to the primary theory that the entire situation is a sophisticated hoax. As no further physical evidence was recovered and attempts to identify the unknown woman have failed this will be the final report before this incident is moved to cold cases.
