Bathing is the submersion of the body in a fluid, usually water or an aqueous solution, usually for the purpose of washing. It may be practiced for personal hygiene, religious ritual or therapeutic purposes or as a recreational activity.

This tag is used for any image depicting bathing, or just the area where the bathing will take place. For the object, use bathtub instead (or both if a character is taking place inside a bathtub).

Where as a bathtub is a large open container for water, in which a person may wash their body. A bathhouse is a (generally semi-public) space for bathing.
