Meta: anaglyph
Anaglyph posts are posts that have been given a stereoscopic 3D effect achieved by superimposing two differently encoded images on top of each other. The most common technique and colors used is one red and one cyan with each color offset of the other when not viewed using anaglyph 3D glasses, in the form of red and cyan blur or shadows.
To properly experience the effect this adds to an image, you will need 3d glasses.
Not to be confused with
- Chromatic aberration which in photography (as well as in your eye) occurs when all wavelengths of the light cannot be focused onto the same focal plane. If the image contains many different superimposed colors, or if the shift of the two colors is very small or even non-existent then it is much more likely that it's a case of chromatic aberration and not an anaglyph.
