Character: alfonso (animal crossing)

Alfonso (アルベルト Aruberuto, Albert) is a lazy alligator villager from the Animal Crossing series. He has appeared in every Animal Crossing game to date. He appears in the Doubutsu no Mori film as a major character and Yu's best friend. His catchphrase, "it'sa me," is a reference to the famous Nintendo character, Mario.

Alfonso is a burnt-umber orange with a white jaw, cheeks, and stomach. There are darker circles of orange on his face, legs, arms, and tail. His initial shirt also references Mario. It is called a Big Bro Shirt, and is red, with a white circle that has a red capital M inside.
