Finally, the arawasi come from the largest inner islands of the archipelago, dwelling mostly in the inland swamps. They are the largest group on average, just a hair larger than the merwasi, but with the smallest handfins and a pair of descending (drooped) jaw fins. Their coloration is only known to vary within the same family of hues as those depicted, and will generally have some kind of "murky" skin color to better blend into their native environments while the eyes are always some shade of brown or green. They tend to not have much contact with the merwasi or even the surwasi, making them appear rather insular compared to the other two groups, who maintain frequent contact with each other's lands. Due to the unstable and infrequent contact, as well as their general appearance, the others (especially the surwasi) often regard them as "kind of scary".
